Dan L. Zimbroff, MD, founded Pacific Clinical Research Medical Group in 1987. His commitment to maintaining the highest standard of professional conduct in performing clinical trials earned Dr. Zimbroff and his staff the respect of the psychiatric clinical research community. During his career, he conducted more than 350 clinical research studies, authored professional papers in psychiatric journals and presented at professional meetings, in both the United States and internationally. Simultaneously, he served as a consultant to many pharmaceutical companies in the forefront of central nervous system drug research and development.

Dr. Zimbroff began practicing psychiatry and psychopharmacology in 1980 and was a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology from 1983 until his death in August 2007. In connection with his work in clinical research, Dr. Zimbroff served as Medical Director of Medication Research at the Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center in Loma Linda, California, from 1995 to 2000. Prior to his work at Loma Linda, he was Medical Director of Mental Health Services at San Antonio Community Hospital in Upland, California, from 1987 to 1995.

Dr. Zimbroff attended college at Columbia University in New York and graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed an internship and residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. Prior to moving to California in 1987, Dr. Zimbroff was a faculty member of Northwestern University Medical School, Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center, and the University of Chicago Medical School.

Above all, Dr. Zimbroff' was dedicated to improving the lives of those suffering from psychiatric illnesses. Today, we at Pacific Clinical Research are committed to carrying on the legacy created by Dr. Zimbroff.
